Presented by the Justice and Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco, this webinar will explain how citizens’ courtroom observations play an important role in helping protect immigrants undergoing judicial determination of their status. Additionally, such participation helps keep an eye on government efforts to subvert due process and assist ICE actions. In addition to providing a general introduction to immigration courtroom procedures, attendance is a prerequisite for those who plan to volunteer as court observers in San Francisco. Participation will be limited to 100. If you are interested in attending, RSVP with name, email address and phone number. Registration will close at noon, Sept. 19th
